Katrina L. Zimmerman

Teacher, Artist, Beekeeper

Artist Statement

As an art educator, I think it is essential to keep my self in the midst of the creative mess to gain empathy and understanding for my students. I have had a camera in my hand since my 8th birthday when my grandma handed me that first FisherPrice point and shoot. I am also a passionate beekeeper who uses her art to raise awareness about the plight of bees.
